Trained as a biogeographer, I have been intrigued by the world we live in since my childhood. Besides Québec City (Canada), where I make my home, I have had the privilege of living in Germany, South Africa and New Zealand, and to visit many other regions. My fascination with the beauty and diversity of our planet is what drives my scientific curiosity. I believe that the better we understand our environment, the more we will be inclined to protect it. I am proud to have instilled this belief in my two sons, who are happiest when exploring the outdoors...

J'ai une formation en biogéographie et, depuis mon enfance, je suis intriguée par le monde dans lequel nous vivons. Outre la Ville de Québec (Canada), qui est mon port d'attache, j'ai eu le privilège d'habiter en Allemagne, en Afrique du Sud et en Nouvelle-Zélande, et de fouler le sol de plusieurs autres endroits. Ma fascination pour la beauté et la diversité de notre planète anime ma curiosité scientifique. Je crois que, mieux nous comprendrons notre environnement, plus nous serons enclins à le protéger. Je suis fière d'avoir inculqué cette conviction à mes deux fils, qui sont à leur meilleur lorsqu'ils explorent l'extérieur...
